2008 Dulles National Soccer Tournament

Dear Tournament Participants,
Many thanks to all our great teams, coaches, parents and fans for attending our tournament. The whether was great, cooler than any in the last five or more years, and thus set the stage for a great weekend of soccer. We have already received numerous emails and we appreciate all the complements. Those well deserved accolades are definitely being passed on to our outstanding volunteers at Herndon Youth Soccer. You input is also valued and will be taken to heart as we begin to plan for next year in the coming months.
While field conditions at certain venues were not exactly what we all would have like, it seems to improving each year as Fairfax County has taken the issue more to heart. This year’s 12 venues and 37 pitches boasted 10 synthetic pitches. As we understand it this number of synthetic pitches will increase in the area thanks to Fairfax County and we hope to move all games to either these great surfaces and at the very least nice grass fields such as the ones at Nike.
